![]() ![]() Ended up getting bored on the 120+ floor. I literally just picked up every relic i saw with no synergy. The issue you stated with the room layouts, does make the run boring. You'd think in the DLC gamemode would let you explore with the new potential builds. The skills they have seem pretty garbage too. Those 5 familiars they added have nothing to their tree but a single item. As you said you cant do anything about your relics when you hit cap and legendary weapons never spawn. The dungeon of the deep was massively terrible. With this DLC that was free, didnt feel like it brought anything to the game really. Yeah, since we cant leave a review under the DLC, i'd like to rant on that topic and I do agree with your statements. I hope the devs will consider giving a little more love to this content pack, as I think it really improves the game overall. ![]() They're a complete non-factor because of this. You can see in my screenshot that I have almost twice as many turns stocked up than I have used in total up to that floor. * Bonus Turn Count collected from breaking enemies is far too generous (in my opinion). Did you pick up a Helm of Wind and Thunder early, but now you've found a Yata no Kagami? Enjoy the permanently wasted slot. * Relics stop spawning as soon as you reach the 30 Relic cap, and there is no way to discard or sell Relics that you have. Super disappointing, since the update added more. Nothing special about them, besides them being limited to this dungeon. * There are no special 'gimmicks' to speak of (no attuning elements, no infinity gauntlet, etc.) You could say the coins are a gimmick, but really they're just Gold 2.0. * You never face any of the chapter-specific end bosses. As a result, there is no exploration aspect (finding secret walls, etc), and there are also no 'mysterious events', which is a shame. * Every 'floor' is limited to being only one of: combat room, a small shop, a big shop, a goddess fountain, or a boss. I haven't lost yet, but it doesn't seem the dungeon has anything else to offer. After going as far as floor 205 on my first run, I think I've established the pattern of the dungeon and there is no longer any point in continuing. I was especially excited to hear of the Dungeon of the Deep, as I felt this game really lacked a long enough mode to mess around in (I love assembling late-game combos). By defeating them you will gain access to their abilities, increasing your arsenal of skills you can unleash as you continue on to the next levels.First of all I want to say thank you to the devs for giving us this FREE content update! I love this game and it's a shame it's so short. Throughout your quest, you will encounter elite monsters equipped with elite skills known as Familiars. There are a lot of lethal combinations to explore and use to slay monsters you encounter. Throw fire on top of oil to burn monsters and mix lightning with water to electrocute your foes. A carefully thought out strategy is the key to escaping this dungeon alive.Ĭast your Skills on the Elements of the TerrainĪs you go deeper into the dungeon you will come across terrains mirroring a variety of elements that can be combined with your skills to deal heavy damage to the enemy. Take however long you need to map out your route, decide the best way to avoid traps, or how to use the elements to your advantage. The game moves as you move, and your enemies will stand still until you decide what’s the best way to attack. Without access to the entire map, you have no choice but to strategically decide how you will mount an attack on the enemy. But unlike traditional open maps, Crown Trick locks you inside of small dungeon room to do battle with monsters. The procedurally-generated maze ensures you have a different experience every time you enter the dungeon. With a new experience awaiting every time you enter the dungeon, let the power bestowed by the crown guide you in this challenging adventure! Enter a labyrinth that moves as you move, where mastering the elements is key to defeating enemies and uncovering the mysteries of this underground world. Crown Trick is a beautifully animated rogue-like RPG adventure characterized by turn-based combat and skill-item interactive strategy. ![]()
